19" OEM coupe wheels on a sedan

I was thinking of getting these for my black G. Can someone post some picture of sedans with this wheel?

Thanks!

I think in that pic, the fronts are 19s but the rears are 18s from an 05 sedan w/sport tuned susp.

Nah they are 19" from the coupe that is the forged finish which is lighter thank than the finish on sedan's sport package wheels. The back wheel just looks darker in that picture.

Yes....those are the 19s in the front and back. I know, cuz it's my car .

I rarely get time to post, so it was nice to jump on and come across a pic of my car!

I have Z front springs, and coupe rear springs. I can't remember if the pic was before or after I lowered it. Sorry about the bad pic. I can't take new ones, cuz I sold the wheels.

If you plan on lowering, beware of rubbing issues. I believe I was rubbing with the coupe springs in the back (0.5 inch drop).

EDIT: the pic IS after i lowered it. I have a few other pics. I'll see if I can post them up.

Socal 4, are you still running 19 rims on your ride? How bad was the rubbing issue with the drop and the 19 inch coupe rims. I'm thinking of getting the 19 in rims from a coupe but my car has been lowerred with Tein H for the sedan. Thanks for your info in advance.

coupe offset is too low, i don't think coupe wheels will work on a sedan, not even with some fender rolling.

Hey SFG,

Honestly, I never felt or heard my fenders rub. One day while washing my car, I had some rubber on the inside of my rear fender lip. It wasn't on the fronts, or anywhere else, so it couldn't have been road tar. I've heard about other sedans lowered on coupe 19s with no issues. Not sure how to explain.

Here's another pic of the 19s. I also attached some newer pics with my newer wheels. The new wheels are staggered 19s also. They're Axis Milanos, but the person I bought them from just had the 2 rear centercaps, but I got some Jaz (same people as Axis) centercaps in the meantime until I get the 2 fronts. The Jaz ones look nice, so I've been lagging on getting the Axis ones. Either way, I like them.

EDIT (AGAIN): Sorry about the boring angles ...I usually take the pics after a wash. The beautiful model is my crazy girl.

I have a '05 6MT Sedan w/ the Coupe 19's on it...they RUB.

The offset is too low on the rear & thats what causes the rubbing. However, if you ROLL YOUR FENDERS it will be fine for the most part, just a little harmless rub once in a while, like when you're going up a driveway sideways or something.

When the tires needed replacing, I replaced them w/ 245/35 instead of the Coupes' original size of 245/40...totally relieved the rubbing issues.

Sorry no pictures, but I'm at work & don't have any of the files here. If you want, you can look up my profile & look for "threads started by this member".

Hope this helps!

For those whom are interested, the specs on the '05 19" coupe rims are:
19x8.0/8.5 +30/+33

Codeflux, thanks for the input. Andy tells me you have alot of knowledge on this subject.

Socal, thanks for the reply. Your daughter makes a great model for your car.

Gthree5, thanks for the info on the set up on your car. I'll check out your pics and great idea with the shorter sidewall.

It works perfect with some fender rolling. It actually sits better on the sedan (more agressive) than the coupe with a drop. I will post some pics as soon as I take pics of my car.

Hey Perry. When I was looking around for wheels, I kept coming across pics of your ride, and loved the Milanos. You have a sweet G.

Mine are 19s. Maybe the contrast to black makes them look bigger??? Thanks tho .
