which springs to get

wondering which springs to get. i want it to make a diffrence. prob about 1 3/4 to 2 inch drop using the stock 18's. ive seen on some posts that it may need a camber fix. is this true? i know the eibach's only lower about 1 inch which i doudt is very noticelbe. anyone got any picks of them or any set up for that matter? i saw one pick of the eibachs but the dude had his wheel turned so i couldnt really tell. thanks RX

If you want to Go Low, around 1.75" Get the Sprint Springs, You can get an Idea of how they Look. Look for Posts By Ducatiguy............. i'm very happy with the ride. However I would Like a camber Kit For Front & Back.....

Re: which springs to get

$179 for sprint springs sounds about right. The only camber kit offered that I know of is made by Stillen and it only fixes the rear. I'm most likely going to go with the .6 drop made by RSR.

has anyone had experience with a lowered g and going over speedbumps? does it scrape at all with the eibach's or sprint's?

Re: which springs to get

Dropping your car by more than 1.5 in. you will need a camber kit already. So a 2 in. drop might do more harm than good. You will definately have a rough ride with a 2 in. or more drop. I already ordered the Tein's springs I will install it on Monday. I'll see if I can post a before and after picture. From what they told me the front is about 1.2 in. and rear is about .9 in. That set up might not be much but that's all I need. I will be installing 19 x 8 in. front & 19 x 10 in. rear volks soon and I don't want it scraping the side wall of my tires. Having a low profile tire will definately stiffen the ride even more. "Rattle and hum" I always say a small price to pay for a rad looking ride.
