How wide of a rim can you bolt right on w/ and w/o rolling the fenders? I want to go 10" in the rear and 9.5" in the front. I'm after Fat Lip! Deep dish!

I seen a 350Z with 10.5 in the rears without rolling their fenders. It all depends on offsets. The lower the offset, the bigger the lip will be and the more likely you will need to roll your fenders.

I will be running 19x10.5 +17 offset on the rear. This will fit the G35c, but you will need to roll your fenders. The lip will be 4" on my rims this Sept.

Can someone explain what the Offset # means? I've never been clear on this?

Raysur, Even with rolled fenders, do you think there will be rubbing when you roll over dips? What kind of rims are you getting?

G35Hunter,

Check out www.discounttire.com and read the FAQ and tools page. It will pretty much give you a good grasp on what offset mean on a rim. Usually when someone ask, I will go into a long discussion about them and it never ends...

Ok, now about dips and speedbumps with rolled fenders. I had my fenders rolled on my last car (300ZXTT) because I was running 18x10s (really agressive offset also) on the rear with 285/30/18 tires. I didn't have any trouble with them hitting or rubbing.

The rims I'm getting are gunmetal Gram Light 57F-Pros. Here is a pic of them on a FD3S:

They are already on a container in Japan waiting for the boat to ship out, which should be this week. After they reach port they get shipped to my place.
