20 x 9 to wide? tire sizes? offsets?
Hi, i just ordered a G35 6MT coupe in carrib. blue. I want to get the Giovanna Genoa's in 20 x 9, but i am concerned about the width. Is 20 x 9 to wide for the front? Also, what is an ideal tire size for 20 x 9's without rubbing issues. Also does anyone know the offset for wheels this size, that would clear da large Brembos? thanks

I'm not 100% sure on 20x9, but I know that 20x8.5 on the front with 245/35/20 will not rub. Not sure how much room you have remaining though. But if I had to guess, it should not rub with a 9 inch. The rear should go with atleast a 9.5 or 10 inch. There is plenty of room back there. Now worries about the rear. I have a 275/35/20 x 8.5 on my rear and it looks ok. Would look alot better if it was a 10 inch wide rear. I believe clearing the brembo's would be more of an issues with the design of the wheel than the offset, but I could be wrong though. Hope this info was useful.

Sorry those wheels won't fit your car anyway. I had the Giovanna rep come out to a local wheel place to take measurements because of the Brembos of the 6MT's. The wheel won't clear the Brembos at all. They tried to put one on and it just did not work... Not even close. The picture of the Genoa's on a silver coupe were on a automatic. The Automatics have the smaller break and can fit anything on them. If you want to go with 20's, then get the 5 zigen 3 piece wheels. Good luck and sorry about the bad news on the fitment.
