Giant hole in front of wheel well after grinding out rust and covering in rust converter and inner frame coating. This is the reason I did this repair, to stop future structural damage

Turns out my initial diagnosis was close, but it was the 5-6 internal shifter ROD that cracked, the fork was fine.

Bolts out, fluid drained, ready to drop transmission... my first time doing this on jack stands with the G. The secondary catalyst in one of my cats came loose after the O2 sensor, any clever tricks to keep in in place? I'm thinking about putting a screw through the cat housing to wedge it in place and sealing it with some JB Weld high temp.
