No it doesn't, you need one of these:
OP do you have the cable that plugs in to the sat pre-wire connector? In the pic only the one goes to iPod is shown.
Good deal on a great add-on for the stock head unit. I love mine.

Not sure what other cable you are talking about. This is the 16 pin sat plug right into ipod adapter and it works flawlessly. The only time you would need another cable is if you wanted to retain your factory sat tuner. So if you have the 16 pin sat wire(hence the prewired for sat)then you are good to go.

^ I believe that 16 pin sat plug you were referring to is the other wiring harness, which should go with the adapter. When I got mine, the cable came with it and I followed the DIY on here to connect the adapter to the sat pre-wired plug using the cable supplied. Here are some links for your reference:

I see the cable you refer to, All that is is a 16pin female to 16 pin male extension cable. All g's that are prewired this 16pin connector will plug in directly and play normal. The sedan has it behind the pass rear seat finisher and the coupe under rear by the amp. On my sedan I simply removed the back seat, unmounted the pre-wire harness and ran it under the carpet to the center console, mounted the ipod adapter and was in business in 20 minutes. If someone needs the extension cable I have one or sat(out) cable allowing the use of the sat unit and ipod I have them both but you do not need them to get this to work.
5 foot extension cable($20)
Satellite Out Cable Allows retention of Factory sat tuner when adding ipod adapter($20)
