Re: CD error F0

The Bose system on these cars basically just adds more bass. If you want better sound you can do a lot better than the Bose. The simplest upgrade is probably getting an Infinity Basslink. It's an all-in-one unit that will fill in the missing low end, search the forums for pics. Although it's fairly small, if you're looking for something that doesn't take up any trunk space at all, you could have an 8" "free-air" woofer installed into your sedan on the rear deck with a small aftermarket amp to mimic what the Bose adds.

The headunit in the two systems is pretty much identical, except for the Bose logo on the cassette flap. It's the amp and speakers that make a difference, and you could make it sound better than the Bose by going aftermarket, as long as you stick with quality components.

Re: CD error F0

Where is the stock amp located? Would replacing the stock
amp really help get better sound?

Did anyone get Infiniti or the dealer do a permanent fix for this problem?
couple of days ago mine went bad 4th time...

I am super unhappy. My warranty is going to run out in 9 months.
What can I do guys? Will infiniti pay for me to get aftermarket unit? Will they buy th car back? What are my options?

thanks for all your help!
