What else with this GTM supercharged build?

Hey guys,

Ok so I've decided I'm going to go FI. I've had my G since 04 and I've got 166K on the odometer. I'm not going to use my stock engine. I've decided against a rebuild due to the possibility of finding more things that need to be done besides rods and pistons. Instead, I'm going to purchase a new long block from ImportPartsPro for $4400. See below:

This Stage 1 VQ35 Long Block is good for someone who wants a safe turbo charged or super charged Nissan 350z or Infiniti G35 without the worry of detonation. The stage 1 package is good for up to 600 Rwhp. The Stage 1 VQ35 Long block comes with a full one year warranty against defects and comes with our 10+ years experience on building Nissan/Infiniti motors.

This Package includes:

Wiseco Pistons .020 over
Eagle/SCAT H Beam Rods
ARP Rod Bolts
Block inspected and cleaned
Block redecked
Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate
Rotating assembly balanced
Crank magnafluxed and the journals micro-polished
New Moly coated Race Spec main bearings installed
New Moly coated Race Spec rod bearings installed
Block prepped and assembled
New OEM Head Gaskets
Heads inspected and cleaned
Heads redecked
Ported exhaust and intake runners
3 angle valve job
New OEM Valve stem seals installed
Valve Stem Heights set
Cold Clearance set for stock cams
Heads prepped and assembled
New OEM Rev-up Oil Pump

Engine will come with Heads bolted to block and torqued to spec

I've found through research, the best supercharger on the market now...is the GTM turn-key supercharger kit. It comes pretty loaded to say the least. I spoke with GTM and was given advice that if I was going to have a built engine, I might as well go big to get my moneys worth. In regards to SCs they suggested the GTM Stage 2 SC kit rated at 600hp. As far as I know these kits are new. I want to say, just the past summer (2012) new for the DE engines.

Kit costs $7764 Here is the break down:

GTM G35 DE Stage 2 600HP Supercharger Kit - Turn-Key

· Rotrex C38 supercharger
· GTM compressor housing
· GTM Supercharger Billet aluminum brackets
· GTM billet aluminum SC pulley
· GTM supercharger cooler kit
· GTM Polyurethane Motor Mounts
· GTM Velocity Stack Intake
· Rotrex Supercharger Traction fluid
· 4-Ply High Resistance Nomex Silicon couplers
· Stainless Steel T-Bolt clamps
· 3’ x 13 x 24 Bar and Plate Core Intercooler Rated @ 1000hp
· Polished aluminum intercooler piping
· GTM Oil Filter Relocation Kit
· Cold Air Intake System (using K&N filters)
· Turbosmart Bypass valve
· Pre-made steel braided oil and P.S Supply & Return lines
· All Necessary Hardware and installation instructions
· GTM Custom mapped plug-in and play engine management for optimum engine tune and power. (Uprev just so you guys know)
· GTM Basic fuel system with Denso 600cc Injectors and a Walbro 255 Fuel Pump.
· GTM 1000HP MAF Sensor
· GTM Custom Drive Belt By Bando
· GTM Heavy duty Belt idlers
· Automatic Belt Tensioner
· HR Cooling Mod

So I have a built engine and a new supercharger kit. What else would I need?

I think I would need a new valve train assembly (chains, sprockets, etc)

Would I need a new oil pan, oil cooler kit, return fuel system kit, wideband gauges, new clutch?

Anything else?

My 04 coupe is basically stock. I have some intake mods, which would not matter in the case of getting a new long block, and a motordyne exhaust. That's it.

I've searched and read and searched some more. I'm just wondering what is the least I need to do with the built engine and supercharger kit to get things going and safely. I'm expecting to get around 500-530 hp to the wheels.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, you will need those, an oil cooler is definitely recommended. If your timing components have never been replaced yet then I would recommend that too.
