Lowered but thinking of raising it up a bit

Just lowered my car on some Tein coilovers the other day. (Thought it would only take me a couple hours.....I was seriously mistaken). Anyways, its riding a bit low (no rubbing though) and I've been thinking about raising it up a bit. It all really depends on how it takes to the local streets though.

Here are some pics. Sorry for the quality I'm no expert with the camera.

So what do you all think should I keep it that height or raise it up. I'm still undecided and can go either way. (Already had a couple scrapes underneath but very minor)

The front-end should come up about 1/4 inch. It doesnt look like a very comfortable ride. How is it???

Ride is a little stiff, but that was to be expected. I've only scraped the front end once (underneath). It seems I actually have more problems with the sides getting scraped underneath. For some reason sarasota has a lot of parking lot entrances where its an incline immediately followed by a decline making a small /\ shape.

But yeah I was contemplating a 1/4" raise in front..... i'm still 50-50 on the decision.

Off Topic ?

Dakkerz where did you get those side marker's? Did you make them or did they come with the bumper? I haven't seen anyone else with them on here. They look really good.

TIA. Chris

front should come up to match rear... it looks a bit odd that low...almost like an old school muscle car with the air shocks in the rear... honestly, it's bording on a "ricer" appearance which our Gs should never have... also, tire should never disappear under the fender as it gives a wimpy look and the symmetry is completely lost... just my opinion...

Yeah I kind of agree with you echephron, how the front should match the back's height.

Just curious to all you that have Tein Basics, do I need to remove the entire suspension to adjust the height or can I do while its still in place.... because taking them apart kinda sucks and requires 2 people. Just don't know if the compression from the springs prevents turning the adjusting rings

N/M I just raised it up a 1/4" tonight after work. It wasnt easy to raise it up with the suspension still in place but I was still able to do it. Looks a lot better in my opionion, thanks everyone for all the feedback.

I raised it up just a tad (ended up being less than 1/4") because I had a slight scraping issue and I plan on getting a lip in the near future. Another reason was to show a bit more of the front tires. Now instead of the top 1/2" of the tire hidden under the wheel well its only about an 1/8" which still looks pretty good and saves my underbody

Thanks for all the advise and compliments. Next project is Fast Intentions exhaust and test pipes and then new front lip once I narrow it down to which one (they all look so good)
