I was bored..So i made LED side marker for people who don't know how to play with LED like me..
It took me about 1hour...only because I did not have tools..
If I had tools It would take less than 1 hour...
Anyways...Here are some pictures...Pictures will tell you almost everything..
Its Easy...

Materials needed:
-6 LED Bar Set from superbrightleds.com

-Pair of Side marker
-Anything to cut back of the side marker housing
-LED Holder(I used one of my burned 194 LED)

　ignore led holder part...
　you can use anything...there are heated shrink wire connector..or wire 　　　connector that secure water...be creative
　my led holder don't secure water so its not a good idea...
-silicone
Total cost-$10~20
-Silver Marker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
since you can see through the housing..led bar doesn't match the color..
so I used silver marker to match the color looks much better







Final Product..........



Add silicone to the backside of the housing.

Result.........






Its much brighter than single 194 led.....I like it
I still have to paint LED Bar silver and add silicone sealant to the backside of the housing.

newayz heres mine..looks like blue but its not...

 

yeah i've seen a lot of 6000k pics.. but haven't seen it with the '06 projectors..

i have the '06 so this is my first time seeing it w/ the 6000k phillips...

Its not blue at all..more close to white-purple...

Arent you worried about water getting in there?

 

Actually water went in there first time when I used glue to secure the back side of housing..so I tried silicone..It worked really good..No problem at all..

sweet! I have seen people do this to thier interior lights as well. LED's are much brighter and more reliable.

Looks good, What color did you choose on superbrightleds.com? Cool white or Warm white?
Also how do they match up with your 6000k bulbs?
