Lowering seat DIY

Lowering seat DIY

Anybody have a DIY or a picture of the bolt used to lower the seat height in our cars? Is it one bolt or two? I searched and was amazed that I couldn’t find a picture.

I need help my head keeps hitting the headliner!

Thanks Guys!

Sorry no pics, but if you want to lower the front and back of the seat then its 2 nuts that you lossen. Put the seat all the way up and then lower the front of the seat and look undreneath while your doing it an you'll see which one is which. If you're a big guy with a big head, get some skinny punk to do it for you-lot easier for them.

I'm 5'10" but I don't have this issue. My seat's at the lowest setting. Is there a difference in the seats between with and without the premium pkg?

Anywhos..don't know if this will help but...

Can you clarify please? Are you saying it's possible to lower the seat just by adjusting the bolts? How much does it lower? Thanks!

IDK if there's a diff w/premium pckg. I have premium, 6way pwr seats all the way down and when I go over a dip or fair size bump, my head hits the top.
LOL...if only the sunroof opening was a little wider, then my head would have more of that space above.

Anywayz, thanx for the diagram

Wow...nice find.
Haha...Who would think to look in the engine, drivetrain & fi section for that seat mod. It's an old post too.
Guess what I'm going to go do right now...

Holy crap!... Thats been the only real complaint I had that my head would hit the ceiling especially with my sunglasses on my head. I just went outside and within 10 min I have easily more than an inch of extra room! Thanks Dudfound for pursuing this and making many of our driving experience that much sweeter!
