Out the door, cash deal for just under $41K ($38,300 plus 7% NJ tax)
I cancelled this deal because they couldn't produce the vehicle by the end of the year. Went to another dealership(Ramsey Infiniti in NJ) and made a deal for the following:
Model: G35x AWD, Platinum Graphite exterior / Graphite leather w/alum. interior
Packages / Options: sport package, premium, navigation, wheel locks, splash guards, trunk cargo net.
$41,000 grand total including all fees and 7% state tax.

Taking delivery on 12/27 with Infiniti's 3.9% financing.

2008 G35

Hi, everyone. This is my first post. I just bought a 2008 G35, garnet ember with wheat interior, Journey, Premium pkg, navigation pkg, wood trim, cargo net, painted splash guards, and dealer installed rear spoiler. The car before taxes was $35,999. NC tax is 3%. $74 tax, title fee. $399 document fee - I got screwed there. I negotiated the price over the phone by playing three dealers against each other. My car had to be brought in from another state because I had to have the red.

I went from a Toyota Highlander SUV to this sports sedan and am loving it.

Welcome and congrats!
Nice color combination, and it looks like you got a good deal as well.

Merry Christmas (Eve) everyone!

Just picked up my G35 on Saturday. See sig for details on options, etc.

MSRP: $38,025
Invoice: $34,708
Paid (Before TTL): $34,708

Also, given the uncertainty about the upgrade process (and $) for the hard drive nav, I got them to throw in one free nav upgrade whenever I want it (assuming one is available of course).

I bought from Roswell Infiniti of North Atlanta. Really can't complain about them at all. As far as dealerships go, I thought they were better than any other I've dealt with.

Hi guys,

I am going to pick up my G35xS tomorrow

Got a question for the VPP purchase.

When I order my car 2 months ago I was quoted ~$300 over invoice which
was not bad, but now people here are getting invoice or less, so it is not a
great deal. Now my salesman told me it is actually ~$400 over, since they
forgot to add a $90 fee (not a DOC fee, which is $59). I looked on the VPP site, but see no mention of $90 fee.

Anyone else pay this fee with VPP?
Do I have to pay this fee since it is not mentioned on the official site?

Thanks

thats not even a deal under any circumstance, if hes springing last minute things threaten to walk... pay no more than $150 over... all fees inclusive.

I agree, since VPP is good at any dealership, if you dont feel good about what they are telling you, just walk away

If it means you have to pay $300 over invoice at this time of year, then VPP must stand for "Very **** Poor" deal... You can get this car for invoice (and even lower if you're in a major market with multiple dealers).

Thanks for the replies.

I ordered the car with deposite so I can't just walk, plus it is exactly
what I want. $100 is not a big deal since the car is 37K, I just didn't
like this BTW we forgot to add this $90 fee, which I can't find any
addition fees on the VPP site.

$100-$300 mean little to nothing since we are all buying a car nearly $40k. If you're getting close to invoice, it's a deal.

For employees of NNA and Affiliate-companies and their immediate family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:

A & B PLAN
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 4.3% : Infiniti 3.58%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant’s purchase price

For NNA and affiliate employee sponsored friends and extended family members, the VPP price is calculated as follows:

C PLAN
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant's purchase price

For Business Associates, the VPP price is calculated as follows:

D PLAN
Dealer invoice
Minus VPP discount (Nissan 2.87% : Infiniti 1.65%)
Plus dealer added options, Security Plus, Infiniti Extended Protection Plan, etc.
Plus 2.5% delivery fee of dealer invoice after VPP discount has been subtracted
Plus destination and handling charge
Minus applicable incentives
Equals participant's purchase price

Hope that clears up some confusion.

Yes, In theory, unless you have an VPP A or B plan, you can negotiate yourself a better deal than VPP C and D plans.

Is this a good deal???

2008 Infiniti G35
Journey 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
Invoice
National Base Price $29,480
A note about advertising fees
Regional Adjustment -
for Zip Code
Change
Optional Equipment $6,292
P01 Premium Package $2,155
U01 Infiniti Navigation Package $1,853
S01 Sport Package $1,422
J01 Moonroof $862
Color Adjustment -
Liquid Platinum
Destination Charge $715
Total with Options $36,487
{Plus $300 <----Dealer profit}

Also included 4 mats, working on getting the spoiler for free. So looking $36,787. With no Dealer fee as I asked twice.
