I just picked mine up last Wednesday 12/12/07.

2008 G35 Sport 6MT, Premium, Navigation, Technology, Splash Guards, Cargo Net, Floor mats, tint, wheel locks... I believe it's loaded with everything except the rear steer or spoiler.
MSRP $39,125
Negotiated Price before TT&L $36,000
OTD in Texas $38,510

Nothing like a year-end deal. What a car!

Southwest Infiniti, Houston, TX. Chris Bonnefin - Wonderful to deal with...

Todd

This is what I like to hear, I'm in Houston also and would like to purchase in the next week or two. Do you happen to have your salesman's email address?

I was just told by a dealer that they would not deal on a 2008 G35X sport until they have them in stock. I wanted the 3.9% but they said that they can't?

if you want a sport bad, then look around near you expand your search or wait..since no one has it yet anyways I do not see why you cannot wait till they get them in, let it sit in their lot for a while and you will see their tune change.

I was told the only way I can get the 3.9% on a G35x Sport (or any car) is to have it invoiced by Jan 2 when the offer expires. Infiniti goes by the date it was invoiced (sold) by the dealer to determine eligibility for the 3.9%. Not driving it off the lot. Doing a locate, the earliest delivery date was Jan 3, total of 4 in the western region if I remember right. One was my color fully loaded so I jumped on it. My dealer is willing to do the paper work and invoice it before Jan 2. I was told the invoice for the vehicle arrives 3 - 5 days ahead of the car.

soon to be G35x Sport

Dealers will try to hustle you with the 3.9%. if your credit is good, you will get approved for the 3.9%. So negotiate the price first, then deal with the financing later. When the financing comes, they will try to pull your leg for a 8%+ saying your credit isn't that good or what so ever. Let them know that the reason you are buying because it's the 3.9% promotion. So if you can't get the 3.9%, you are not buying.

To qualify for the 3.9%, you just need to be tier 3 or better (650+ [640+?] by Infiniti Financial's tiers, I think) and at least 5 years on the bureaus.

HOWEVER, even though you may qualify for the 3.9%, they may cap the highest payment you can have, which effectively means you may need a large down payment.

e.g. I had a customer that was tier 3, and I had the customer qualified at 3.9%. Infiniti Financial capped the customer's payment at 450/mo, which means the customer needed almost 20k down to get the car at 3.9%. Customer also had to prove income, residence, additional references, etc. (in this case, the customer was tier 3 and had a relatively low income, hence teh 450/mo cap)

PM me if anyone has questions regarding financing.
