Looks like he paid invoice less the $500 rebate. A good price though not as good as the $4,500 cash back the Canadians are getting (Invoice = $32,579).

Keep in mind that the starting point of Canadian cars is a LOT higher; example - G35x with premium, tech and nav is:

USA - $40,615
Canada - $52,440

WTF?!?!

Yeah, that's what I thought!!

So in any case, you are still likely to get better pricing south of the border until some true adjustments in pricing are initiated by Infiniti Canada (even if you throw in a metric speedo cluster for about $850 installed). Also, the Canadian $ is just a little above par these days and is predicted to stay so for a while. Some analysts have it going to (and staying at) about $1.05 or so this year - it alreadly hit an all time high in the range of $1.10 late last year.

Hello everybody. I'm a new member and proud new owner of a 2008 Blue Slate G35X-S w/ prem, nav, splash, and net. Priced at $36,925 after 500 rebate +2.9% finance, before taxes and fees. I ditched my 2003 Acura TL-S after driving the X and became a believer!

I assume you are financing or something because most of you people do, and if so you should be able to get your car definitely below or at invoice.. ESP since you are in the CA area. cars there go cheap cheap....

AGAIN... to everyone always base you decisions on the cars TOTAL invoice price including all options and dest.. and you should NEVER pay more than around a couple hundred OVER invoice.. including all fees...only thing on top of that should be taxes. If you lease finance you should be able to get AT or less than invoice.

Some people even get maintenance and such thrown in.
Where did you pickup your car? PM me if you don't want it publicly posted. Looking for the best deal on the same option set you got. Thanks.

Invoice on Edmunds shows $37,245 - if you got the $500 rebate that brings it to $36,745, so your price looks pretty good (either $227 or $727 under invoice - depending on whether you got the $500 rebate that has been mentioned.

Nice! Enjoy!
