I see you are in Cali.. I would go with HFC's instead if I lived in a state that sniffs the exhaust, for sure. You don't want to risk dealing with those CARB people there, they could impound your car!

 

What are the chances of them sniffing my exhaust?! I think I am gonna keep them!

 

Don't they hook up the sniffer to pass inspection? Best case unless you know a shop that will pass you and not check, you'd have to put the cats back on every year to pass inspection. I've also heard of those CARB vans that pull over modded cars all the time and do a sniff test, if you fail they can write ticket or impound car. As far as numerical chances, who knows!

 

In CA they do a smog check only if your car is 6 years old, and every two years after that! I gotta take my car to a fromt license plate inspection! I don't them to smell them! I could straight out smell them myself!!

You can always take them off the car before the smog check. i am looking into these right now.

I am looking for HFC or i might just go w/ test pipes. Before i tune the car i want something that will add some good numbers. But i am looking into fast intention that goes w/ my exhaust.

 

Yeah!! I just a little girl about it! Period! You get caught with these it's a big fine! You get caught with an exhuast you get a fix it ticket!

 

I'll just save up for an exhaust for sound instead!
