I have the same drop as you and I was wondering how your tires fit. What offsets are you running. I have work vs-xx 18x9 +38 offset all around. I need to see what tire set up I need to look clean

I have a 2008 g35 Journey RWD. If i do a similar setup to h2mann with 245/35/19s front and 275/35/19s back on OEM 19 inch wheels from a 2005 coupe, would I absolutely have to do a drop to compensate for the slightly shorter overall diameter of the proposed setup over stock 225/55/17s up front? I've been doing research on wheel diameter calculators, and I'm short by one inch up front, which sends red flags to me. More so on looks than anything else.

I've been searching for a few days and haven't found the info. I've tried the calculators on 1010tires.com and wherever else as well but still can't make a determination on this so any help is welcome.

Will 18"x9" with a +30 offset and a 245 width tire work on the rear of a V36 sedan?

Thanks in advance.

so are you running +40 +50 or are you running +35 and +45 but you originally bought them at +30 and +40 and had to run 5mm spacers?

You gotta read about offsets a bit more! Wheels originally with +45 and +35 offsets! And with the 5mm spacers all around that puts them at +40 and +30! So with bigger spacers the offset number goes down! The less the number the more is gonna stick out! The bigger the number the more is gonna sink in!

After buying the G35 in late 2007, I finally got bored of the stock look especially after years of seeing all the sick modded Gs here. And after month's of research and countless PM's to forum members, I settled on the following:

Coilovers: Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C
Camber Kits: SPC Front and Rear
Tires: 245/35/20 f and 275/30/20 r
Wheels: Concept One CS10
-20x9 +36 f
-20x10.5 +45 r

Thanks to SoundMike for the countless PMs on offsets and widths. Also thanks to B2Autodesigns for the CO and Camber Kits. Finally thanks to Rusty at TNT Autobody and the rest of the TNT Autobody crew for helping me get the CO and Camber Kits installed. Anyone in Sac that needs install help go see these guys. I'll try to get some proper photo's together but for now some phone camera shots...

Here's pics of my B&G S2 springs (w/ SPC F&R camber kits w/ toe bolts)
Drop is 25.75" to the bottom of front fender & 26.25 rear fender. Alignment in spec
These B&G springs are for 2007-2008 G35s (mine is a 2009 Journey), the drop is a bit more in the front for the 09+ since the 7AT adds 150 pounds. These on a G35 would be about 1/4-1/2" higher in front.
