I have the same issue. Reset the ECU and idle speed twice using the instructions you find online..

I got somewhat of a lead foot, and I'm due for a major service soon (100,000 km), but I suspect its got to do with the oxygen sensor and/or the timing belt.

btw, you can pop the car into neutral, tap the brake, and press the start button; it'll restart without putting it into park.. It's a b*tch when I'm driving in a parking garage in the mornings at work.

I live in a very dusty place (Dubai) so it's most likely the engine is choking up.

It'll be in the dealer's for maintenance in a week or so, so I'll let you know what happens too.

Btw.... I read somewhere that the cam shaft or crankshaft sensor can cause stalling sometimes... I don't know exactly what they do, but maybe it can help?

Is that located by the throttle body?

OP posted in # 11.
In this case it was not the MAF.

What was your end result? I am having a similar issue but it is at about 1100 rpms and if I don't give it enough gas it will stall.. I have to take it in for a diagnostics test for $100 but money is tight right now so time will tell I guess.

After having a similar problem for around 1 month (with my last daily a R33 Skyline) that my mechanic couldn't fix until it actually finally completely failed, my vote is for a MAF problem. My R33 did exactly as you describe for around 1 month and then one day it cut out completely (200m from the workshop after picking it up supposedly repaired)

If its just doing it at low rpms then like many said maf sounds about right, but fyi my friend had this issue on his 05 G but it also wouldnt rev past certain rpm and it turned out to be t he camshaft sensor located behind the engine which is easy diy

I had the EXACT same problem...
After reading the post... I have cleaned my MAF and Throttle body. ever since, any signs of these problems are gone!

Try to clean your maf and throttle body. let us know how it goes. (make sure to buy the proper cleaning spray)

My car suddenly stopped doing it, i noticed that after I kept doing the idle relearn or messing with the throttle body, the stalling continued. But I gave up and after a couple of weeks it just stopped stalling and everything was great.

So I figured that the best solution for me was to stop messing with it since the dealer didn't know what was wrong with it either.
