didnt need the bolts because i used the stock ones... so from the time i put these on to now, the bolts were misplaced and i only found one of them.

No they are not critical, they are used for caster adjustment, i believe.

Also, bolt installation "requires you to elongate the holes on your strut casing slightly to allow the eccentric action of the toe bolt."

They are for toe adjustment and are may be needed depending on your drop.

how much for the caster bolts from SPC? I'm interested but I have some caster and toe needs as well as camber.
