I agree, but you have to think about 20" wheels, heavier car, automatic tranny....I'm sure SFR's 350 weren't running stock cats? I can easily go over 400rwhp with either Test-Pipe or High flo cats plus smaller diameter wheels/tires. I mean you probably have seen VRT cars? Their G/Z's are making somewhere around 440~480 with the same setup I have plus some other bolt-on mods such as one I mentioned above high-flow cats or test-pipes. Honestly, I don't think numbers really matter, it's about how you feel about your ride. If you're happy with 100hp then that's all you need, if you want more there's always going to be room to work with, in my case I was happy with 350rwhp/400rwtq didn't wanted anymore than that.

Reasons are: Lower comp, 5AT, wheels and a very safe tune. The SFR 476 tune was not a good safe street tune (IMO).
