tell me how you shipped your bumpers

Like it says. I'm probably going to have someone i know in Atlanta buy chicklet's bumper and ship it to me. Only issue is we have no idea how to ship something that big, safely and without costing an arm an a leg. If you guys could tell me how you shipped yours i'd really appreciate it.

i checked into greyhound. a 48" box weighing 100 lbs will cost $87 from atlanta to phoenix and get here the next day.
can't beat that with a stuck.

NOW,
just have to find a box.
Anyone got any advice on that one?
also, how do you pack it/wrap it? bubble wrap?

Tell me how you pulled that off. I did a quote online and it was horrible. Greyhound is the cheapest but, as noted they don't come to your door.

As the others said, you can ship Greyhound. Tip: you dont have to use a box, they'll accept it without. It'll be easier than finding a huge box and they'll charge you less. Just wrap the bumper in several layers of bubble wrap and slap some "Fragile" stickers on it. I shipped tons of bumpers that way.

Oh, one more tip: DHL will also accept items without a box. Their rates are really good too. However they have a questionable record with me: one spoiler I shipped with them arrived cracked and one lip I shipped with them got "lost". Both times the items were insured and I promptly got my money back.

However, with Greyhound: 100% safety record with me. It's gotten to the destination every time without a hitch.
