Feeler - Stillen Gen3 Intake
I'm highly considering an impulse buy on the Stillen Gen 3 Intake. I've not yet completely decided if I want to install it yet, so I'm seeing if there's any interest in the Austin/SA/Houston area to buy it from me if I decide not to install it.
Obviously I'll sell it for the same price I paid, I'm not trying to make money off of this. Just checking if there's anyone who would want to take it off my hands if I decide I don't want it after I get it in?

I'm just undecided about whether or not I want to put into the time to install it and have to cut through that "wall"

I am not quite sure what the big fuss is about cutting a bigger hole in the core support. It is just a plastic piece and does not harm your vehicle's performance or make it more susceptiple for damages either.
Man up and install your intake!
I know I will as soon as I receive mine from STILLEN.. mine are on back order right now tho.
Can't wait to get my hands on it.. *evil grin*

If I go ahead and order it's somethin around $490 shipped.
But I think I'm picking up an exhaust this weekend and I have a grounding kit ready to install so I might hold off on the intake.

/\ That's not a Gen-3.. you can't give those things away anymore.
I'm also on the Gen 3 fence... just waiting for the prices to drop a tad first.
$500 is way too much for an intake. (IMHO)

The Gen 3 is the brand spanking new intake. Its like a SUPER long tube intake, brings the tubes all the way in front of the radiator.
Supposed to have much better power gains and looks bad-A
But I just ordered an exhaust, so I'm gonna hold off on an intake

I was the second one to own one of these bad boys. My buddy at Stillen called me up after they patched it up from a guy that dropped his car off for testing. I did a self install and it wasnt too bad to do. All you need is screw drivers and a dremel tool kit to cut the wall (its fiberglass composite) so its not too hard to cut.
I love it and it sounds beast. A lot of people ask me if i have an exhaust and I dont have one yet, so its one nice sound coming from your engine. Peak loudness reaches at 5500 rpms and it significantly raised my hp to 15hp to the wheels. Had it dynoed and it came back from 15 to 15.4 hp gain. Good buy and well worth it!!
