Except for bolt pattern... it would be perfect for my sedan.

My opinion.. An adapter is no different than a spacer with the studs built-in. I've put 20k miles on my truck using 3/4" adapter with no issues. I'd just make sure you're using a high quality adapter.

But in this case, you can always have the 5x112 re-drilled to 5x114.3. There is a possibility of have vibration issues though.
