Why waste the whole trunk?with those systems you need way too much equipment. My 12" image dynamics sub & 250/1 JL amp uses way less power and is easy to remove if needed,not only that but it hits hard enough to hurt my ears if i turn it all the way up.

My friend makes custom boxes,I payed $800 for all parts and labor.the 250/1JL amp I got has an adjustable *** i had him put in the center console.

Does the entire enclosure sit above the carpet? Or does some of the box extend down into the area below, where the stock amp and XM receiver would be?

The sub is completely removable and is held in place by one sided velcro on the bottom. No alterations or fabrications were done to the car. The amp can be placed anywhere.I wanted a system as simple as possible that would not drain my battery.this system only consists of a box+12",an amp,a fuse,and wires.Most systems need many other items due to lack of power and will drain your battery.
