2006 Coupe Window up Mod

Does anyone have a wire diagram for a 2006 coupe? I have seen numerous posts on the blue wire that activates the module being a different color from earlier models. It's sad that KP Technologies hasn't put together a newer install sheet.

its easy to test though if you have a dmm.
do you have a service manual you can send me for an 06 and i can find it for you?

Sorry for not having detailed wiring information, but I have yet to find a 2006 to install the module on, and you are actually the first person to request info for an '06.

With the wide range of projects we are currently involved in its very hard to consistantly update wiring info, espeically if there isn't a demand for it.

I've started another thread requesting the parts of the service manual needed to pick out the wire colors, but they will still need to be verified, as the manual occasionally has mistakes.

The instructions included with the module explain in detail how to use a DMM to find each wire when wiring information is not availible.

Thanks!

Thanks Kevin, not a problem. I was being lazy and hoping that someone else had already installed this unit on an '06.

i'll try and check it out this weekend. I'm anxious to get this mod on.

Someone posted back and said that the '06 coupe manual hasn't been released yet!

I would start out by looking for the power wires. Nissan seems to be using a 3 pin plug for power, so if a 3 pin plug is on the power window switch then chances are two of the wires are power and ground.

The wire coming from the key cyilinder is typically the smallest guage wire in the bundle, so that should narrow down the amount of wires you need to probe.

The 'yellow' wire of the KPtech mod does NOT need to be hooked up if you arn't using the 'auto lock' feature. Most people don't use it. If you want to use it look for a wire that is bigger then the key cylinder wire, but smaller then the power wire. This should read 12vdc only when the ignition power is 'on'

The door lock actuator wire will be a purple wire behind the speaker. There are about 4 wires in the bundle back there, and every Nissan I have ever seen has been purple.

Until I find an '06 or get a manual thats the best I can do!

I also added the '05 sedan wiring to our support forum (www.KPtechnologies.com/forums)

That may (doubtful) be a good starting point. If you try the install this weekend and run in to any problems shoot me an Email and I'll help you out the best I can. Also, if you don't mind, post back the wiring information so I can add it to our list!

Thank you and good luck!

It's working. Voltage was good on all connections the unit needed to be reset and repositioned. Maybe it was too close to the speaker or something. At any rate it's working now. Great module guys!

I am So. Cal - L.A. Area, recently purchased the window and roof mod's for my 05 coupe. Has anyone had these installed locally and was satisfied enough with the work to recommend? If so please PM me or post info.
