Hey guys, i recently installed 2 JL audio 10w6's in my car, and it rattles like crazy! It seems to be the trunk and either the exhaust or something near the exhaust....maybe the plate but im not sure. Just wondering if dynamat helps a bit for the rattles, or if you guys have done something else that i might try. Any tips on whats rattling would help too! Thank you!

 

Yes. There are better / cheaper products than dynamat. Raammat is one. Half the price, easier to work with, same deadening quality.

I am buying everything for a VERY thorough DD install, EVERYTHING will be perfect, and Im ordering two rolls of Raammat. Should cost me about $240. That much square footage in Dynamat is over $500.

 

I just used 40+ sq. ft. of edead v2 in my sedan and it works great. I have two alphasonik 12's. The side view mirror used to shake with the stock bose system, now it doesnt shake whatsoever. Now the rear view mirror.... that's a different story. The edead does a really good job of keeping the bass inside the car. half the price of dynamat
