my trunk install

I finished my install a few weeks ago but I didnt have access to a digicam. Borrowed a friends and finally snapped some pics of the end result.

I did the install myself here and there in my spare time. The sub enclosure is from zEnclosures. it fit great and pulls out with ease. I am working on some grills for the subs so i can use the trunk without worrying about tearing the cone from stuff bouncing around. the amp racks I made myself using MDF and fit snugly in the left and right cubbies, they also pull out pretty easily. in the pic the right amp is pulled out a little bit. i didnt notice that when i took the pic, but it pushes back to be symmetrical with the left amp.

equipment list:
2 - ed 11ov2
1 - ed nine.1
1 - ed nine.2x
1 - mpyre comp set (still waiting to receive these so they arent in yet)

and the pic:

The amp racks are constructed out of MDF. I made templates using cardboard and then cut the MDF pieces to size and glued together. Its a wedge shaped design. The racks were then covered in carpet and the amps were screwed down on top (through cutouts in the carpet for each mounting tab). The wedges snugly fit in each corner and dont move around during spirited driving.

this is exactly the type of setup i had been working on (except with a single woofer box... one 10" is enough for me). i stopped pretty much with what you see below and haven't had the time or patience to get back to working on it yet
