Re: Sport Horn

There is a sound bite "somewhere" on my350.com.

The sport horns are louder, and a higher pitch. I had to get rid of the generic (American car) sounding stock horn. The sport horns sound like a european car.

It is a fun, cheap and easy upgrade.

Re: Sport Horn

At least the stock horn sounds like a big American car, and not a dinky little Japanese go-kart.

Re: Sport Horn

Yeah, I want to put the G35 horn in the wife's Maxima.
I really love the way Infiniti got away from that dinkey sounding
Japanese horn!

Re: Sport Horn

huh? I hate the horn. I think it sounds dinky and weak. I prefered my 97 Maxima horn. My G35 horn sounds too polite at times. Although I guess it could sound worse.

Re: Sport Horn

For some reason I’ve always liked the horns from Cadillacs, when you honk the horn it sounds like a train come down on you, not those wimpy “beeeeep beeeep” japanese horns

Re: Sport Horn

If you like loud horns try BOSCH ones off of an old mercedes and tweaked to be louder. Now that thing will scare the SH#$ out of anyone. I mean its loud and when somebody cuts you off you hit it and they learn their lesson.

Re: Sport Horn

I just use my intake to do that ^

My buddy held his horn down at a lady who blindly cut him off, from one intersection to the next and the horn tone changed. I guess he blew one. I'll get this "sports horn" when that happens to me.

It's still a G thang!!

After market air horns kick *** for about $40. bucks. People jump and cars move when you honk with these babies.

Re: Sport Horn

so there wouldn't be a difference between these 2? besides the fact that one says "Z" and the other says "nissan sports horn."
