Stealership said $910 for Sirius to be installed...

Oh man I got an oil change today and asked about the price of installation for the Sirius antenna and receiver, $910. I laughed and continued watching Sportscenter. What's fair price on these? The guy who installed my alarm said he does it for $200, but only Infiniti sells the receiver and antenna for the G35 Coupe. True or False?

check out everythingg35.com... there is a specially made unit that plugs right into the harness in the trunk next to the amp.

Grubbs also has it for $199 but it doesn't include the antenna. You can get the Mini Roof Antenna for $39.95 from them as well. Installation is not that hard, Grubbs has the instructions on their website.

DO NOT pay the dealership to install a Sirius unit. Itis easy to do since the car is prewired for it. You just have to run the antenna.

+1 Order from Grubbs or EverythingG35 and do it yourself. I did mine in my sedan and it's not difficult. I can't imagine a coupe would be any harder.

Do it yourself! It took me about an hour and my car wasn't pre-wired. I can't believe the dealership would charge you $500 per hour for labour. That's just crazy. I got all my parts from Grubbs. Oh, and my dealer woudln't even sell me the stuff. He said: "We don't do aftermarket satellite radio installations".
