need help with reverse / speed wire

I am in the process of installing the Eclipse AVN6600 into my 06 coupe, and am having trouble finding the speed and reverse wires. I searched the threads and havent located the right post.

I did notice that I have 2 extra harnesses that I wont be needing to conenct to my scosche harness. Can I locate the speed wire from one of those harnesses?

Reverse I'm not sure about, since I don't see the need of a backup cam in the coupe...

However:

Speed Sense: white/green on one of the small harnesses you didn't use

Oh, so there is no need for the reverse wire? The manual says that I need to tap into it as well.

The manual recommends that I tap into the speed, park, and reverse wire.

right, I just tapped into the speed wire ( white / green ) from the unused harness with the one provided by the head unit, and grounded the parking wire from the head unit with the rest of my black ground wires.

One question, for some reason, the front left speaker volume is extremely low. I am using the Scosche NN03B harness and Scosche FAI-3A adapter. I tested the adapter by adjusting the levels, and also by swapping the front right -> left input and output wires, and still low volume. Where else can I check? I am using the stock Blose system for now.

Ahh 6600, nice choice.
I like my 6600 way more than the 5495 I had but I do miss the fast nav that the hard drive gave.

If you try swapping the front signals and it stays on the left you either have a problem with the deck or adapter. Try swapping signals from the rear with the front left or try the rear adapter on the front. Something’s gotta give.

i hope it isnt the HU, but I will try swapping the front -> rear. BTW, I noticed that you also have the an IPOD. Where did you place the eclipse ipod adapter? I didnt see any room to shove all the wires and adapters behind the HU.
