tvandnav2go non pnp help

Has anyone installed this unit in an 06 coupe. I got the non plug and play and Im a little confused on where some of the wires go. Ane help would be great.

The green and white wire for the hand brake wire, where do you connect them if you want to watch dvds all the time?

The switch what does it do?

For the RGB wires do you only cut the 4 wires behind the navigation dvd drive or do you have to cut the other 4 wires behind the screen?

And some general use info, how does it work? When I turn the dvd player on does the screen automaticaly chage to dvd or you press something and the same for the back up camera?

Thanks in advance for all the help.

no offense really - but you sound very confused, and being that it is not plug and play, you may want to take it to get it professionally installed - i cant give any advice besides that, since i installed the plug and play version.

as for the way it works, the switch is to flip from input 1 (dvd) to stock navi, and there is a wire on the unit that is a relay for input 2 (backup). Meaning you hook this up to the reverse light wire, and when you hit reverse, it flips on input 2...overrideing stock navi, and input 1 video.

good luck

Just called Dominik and he was able to explain everything in detail. If any one is interested I will be putting this in this weekend and can post a small DIY.

Hi Everyone
Hope all is well.
Please if you have any question that you aren't sure of call us at 718-763-7367. The blue wire goes to the 12V on the reverse lights, if you use a camera, the white is ground. If the green and white wire are tied together and put to ground this will give you video in motion. You should NOT be watching TV while you drive. If you have any other questions please call.
Thanks Dominic www.TVandNav2Go.com

Ok the camera is in and works pretty good. I will post pics tonight of the night shot but during the day it works good. As far as the price I work for a company that has an account with crimestopper and I got it for a wholesale price. If anyone is interested I can get a couple more of these, PM me for the price.
