Can Single-Din Look Ok???

I know this is mostly in the eye of the beholder, but so far all the single-din installs on the 03-04 Sedan look awful (no offense). Is there a decent looking single din kit for our cars? I really can't afford dropping the money for a double din kit then a touch-screen dvd unit, plus install.

Also I think I know the answer to this already but is it possible to keep the steering wheel controls on an aftermarket Headunit???

IF.....I wanted to go DVD/Double Din, how cheap could I get by with a decent setup?

Thanks for clearing it all up!!

install is easy first off...single din alpine units are nice if you pay for a nicer unit...top of the line cda or dva units are nice

As far as I know, you still need the double-din kit to install any aftermarket HU in your car whether it be a screen or single-din HU.

Check out this link to an install of the kit, and a single-din Alpine unit.

For a cheap navi install, consider a Pioneer Avic D2. With installation, you are looking at around $1300 including the double-din kit.

And yes, you can keep your steering wheel controls with an adapter.

You need the double din kit for any new radio install. There are DD size head units that aren't DVD, which are less expensive.
