Just bought 6.5" CDT Audio HD-62

Wanted some input on an item i just purchased on Ebay. Does this look like a good deal. I was looking at these particular speakers after reading about them on the forums and ran into this particular sale. Let me know what you think. Hopefully I made a good decision!

Nice. Good stuff. The only thing you don't get is grilles, and you don't need 'em. I am a big advocate of CDT. You'll be happy.

Thanks, I looked at the sellers feedback and they got 100% feedback. I know they had other discount deals and still maintain their 100% feedback. Hopefully I will be satisfied a great X-Mas gift to myself.

Just got my CDT HD-62's in. I didn't realize that the tweeters were so big. Does anyone know if I can still mount them in stock tweeter location for 04 non-bose coupe? If not, any suggestions on an alternate location to mount them?

not bad, though of course if blow them...speakres and subs are things i never reocmmend ebaying...but...

just wanna say that the Elemental Designs EDI6500 system is virtually the samething, and sells for 250 bucks with grilles and full warranty

you would have a tough time with the tweeter int he stock location unless you do some hacking...not that it hik the stock location is any good for a tweeter like the HD that is a bit on the bright side

Can I cut a hole above the stock speaker location to place the tweeters?

I run the tweets from my HD-642 components in the stock (Bose) location in my '06 coupe.

I have CDT's in my ride and love them! If your going into the stock location with the mid-bass I would definately look into deadning and/or making some type of enclosure for them in there.

16psi, You've done this before haven't you?
