All my CDs are burnt, PERIOD! and i have had one issue with the pre-set radio keys not working, smacked the center stack on the side lightly, switched to CD mode and it worked fine since.

I also have over 100 burnt CD's in the car that i go through.

WHAT?

Are you telling me that there is no such thing as laser sharpening?
So all that "laser maintenance and sharpening" I had done at the dealership was phony?

BTW. Blinker fluid I change my self.
I just pull the bulb out, drain the fluid, get in the with cotton swab and wipe it clean.

i was wondering about posting somethign about this problem..

after i bought my G a few months ago i used the light color black cds..which got stuck...and got the evil ERROR CODE..took it to the dealer. swapped for a new one..
"gave me the DONT USE burnt cds talk" but i didnt listen

i started using CD-rs that are thicker labels (tdk.sony the colorful ones..seems to be better quality...and maybe the laser doesnt go thru it (like the cheaper clear ones)

so if thats any help to others...use the thick label type cd-rs

so far so good =)

No problem here also.
I have burnt CDs (music CD or MP3 CD) all the times and use them in my car without issues.

Make sure you don't put that paper labelling on the burnt CDs and use them in the BOSE system!!

Burnt CD's

I was told the same thing at my dealership. I have an 04 Sedan with the Bose 6 disc in dash. It is actually manufactured by Clarion from what the dealer told me. I have replaced mine 3 times in less than a year and the first time I was using burnt cd's and the other 2 times I used regular cd's and it still did it. It stopped loading cd's the first and second time the third time it would skip real bad anytime you past track 10 and it is starting to do the same thing 3 months later.
