XM & Sirius Announced plans to merge today

XM & Sirius Announced plans to merge today.

PS about a month or two ago I got into an argument with some guy here who said they were both going to go under, that guy can eat a d1ck cause he had no idea what he was talking about.

None the less, this is an interesting development

noticed that the e-mail for XM mentioned other competition being the cause for the merger, WHAT other competition is there other than SIRIUS or XM? e-mail also indicated that in the future, regardless of receiver, customers would be able to listen to both SIRIUS and XM...

The only other competition i can think of would be HD radio. Equipment is about the same in terms of cost and there is no fee.
