what's the advantages or getting 03 04 with navigation system? it navigates you and what else? i think someone told me long time ago that it will warn you by voice if you are not wearing a seat belt and stuff? is it true? i'm thinking of getting one without navigation but i want to know what's the advantage of getting one with navi.

It shows your mpg and your mpg history
Tells you when you need oil change
Has a couple of trip mile counters
Some other things, it is a great feature to have.

 

Distance to Empty meter, oil/filter change reminder, average MPG, door/trunk ajar warning, low fuel warning, trip meter (total time driven, speed average, total miles) forgot what else...

I didnt know the 05-07 wouldnt tell you about how many miles to empty, when to change oil etc. FYI...the navi will not tell you by voice to put a seat belt on. I guess the different discs for the 05's changed all the features as well.

 

Mines an 03 but it doesn't tell me to put on my seat belt by voice, but you can set it to show gas station and ATM.

 

pretty much everything said above.. doesnt tell you if your not wearing seat belt though lol

 

I really like the nav in my 03. The cool thing about it that my dad's caddy doesnt do is that you can search for businesses like a phone book, and it also provides phone numbers also.
