Nav Tuner

AV. Electronics
Anyone know where to get a unit for under $525 or a different brand, cause five bills is a little high for a nav hack.
or even if someone can organize a group buy?

Re: Nav Tuner

Get it, its worth it...I looked at a nav-tv unit and it was damn near 1k...I got this and when I looked at my install yesterday, it was pretty damn sweet looking...

Re: Nav Tuner

you're about 2 months late on the AV Electronics group buy...we got them for $420....you can always organize another group buy, as the organizer of the last one would not be allowed to do so again (per the rules of this forum)

PM "GreggsCustoms", he was the vendor/buy sponsor which is why the thread was deleted. After the thread was pulled, we all completed the buy thru greg via email.

cheers, ted

Re: Nav Tuner

Regarding that AV group buy, what does everyone who got the unit think about the tuner? I was going to get in on the group buy, but backed out after hearing some negative stuff about it.

Re: Nav Tuner

I love my unit! The TV reception is a bit weak, but that has been a problem for years. Everything else works like a charm!

cheer, ted

Re: Nav Tuner

no.. i used the diversity antennas that came with it and mounted them stealthy in the rear headliner posts. I am thinking of coming up with a powered antenna solution, but it is gonna be custom and pretty powerful, so its gonna take a while to develop. I gotta get some time on the Crays...

Re: Nav Tuner

I was in on the GB and The tuner is cool. I didn't even bother hooking up the tv antenna cause there are no channels around here but Xbox works great. I've been thinking about getting a DVD player for it possibly a 12v one cause I tend to leave the Xbox at home.
