"2005" DD conversion

Ok guys...ive done a fair share of searching and I can't find anything about DD conversion on the 2005. I found a good one on a 2004 looks like...but can't find if the 2005 is different...actually i know it must be a little different. I am in the middle of doing it..usually preety good at this stuff but am stuck...i am at the point of taking off the panels on either side of the head unit...i've taken out two screws and am hesitant to pull extremely hard to pop them off...is there something i am missing or just not pulling hard enough?

sorry about the lack of detail...let me know if you need clarification

Yea...read that one...but not really a DIY. Doesnt tell me how to remove the old head unit. I think i might be right...that im just not pulling hard enough...then there will be a screw that i can get to under the ac vent... Well looks that way on the schematic. Anyone with a 2005 done the install that can tell me for sure?

That "exploded view" was of an 2004. The 2005 has the brushed aluminum head unit. The thing that bothers me is that I see a pic of a guy who's done one to the 2005 but it doesnt look like he's taken apart any of the side stuff...Look at this...the glove compartment and under the steering wheel is all still in tackt...Not sure i am doing this right...also wondering if the part where the clock is comes out like the 2004.
