03 sedan

Hi, I drive a 03 sedan with the Bose and have upgraded my front door
speakers, tweeters (crossovers) with Infinity Reference series
and seemed to be good for me at the time. My question is that if
I install an Infinity 2 channel amp to drive the front door speakers/tweeters
would the sound improve and if so would it even be better with the Kappa
series. I know the best would be to rip everything out but I don't want to
go that far..I have a Infinity 2 channel amp sitting in the closet doing
nothing, its the model 7520. Thanks for your input,

Gboy

What are the speakers rated for(wattage)? What is their impedance rating?

That amps puts out 97Wx2 at 4ohms. It might be to much for those particular speakers.

I would keep the Infinity speakers you have and add an aftermarket amp to replace the Blose amp, which sucks.

I think that your amp might be a bit to much for your speakers.

Maybe ask a good audio shop where you live if its possible to get away with using that combo...

Def get rid of the Bose Amp. Its crappy!!!

I know you might not want to go this route but maybe another amp and a sub too.

I'm running a 5 channel amp( Audison) in my sedan(03') with a custom 8" sub and its so far superior over the Bose that was originally in the car.
