lot of bass but stuck in trunk....

hey guys,
i hve a 03.5 sedan. i have a system not sure if its any good or not..but i have four kappa speakers, powered by a 4 chan amp. Than i got a 12" sub powered by a USA amp mono i believe.
There is lot of base, but its all in the trunk...the song doesnt seem the same when i hear it in my other car with factory bose system if i compare it to my car. I was told its cuz of the base is locked up in the truck and its not reaching the car itself. I was suggested i should pull down my rear seats which is not possible. So what else can i do? I really wanan avoid poking holes in the trunk lid but thats my lasttttt resort....I was thinking of juss take off the bose sub since that will allow some bass to enter in the car. takin the bose sub is costing me $80 so i hve to be carefull if it will make a difference.

Someone help..i paid lot of money for the system but not getting what i paid for.

Remove the rear speakers in the decklid since they are for fill anyways, and add sound deadening to your trunk panels to limit loww of bass to the surroundings

yea removing the bose sub from the decklid is costing $80....so will it help me?
I dont want to pay that much and then i find out it didnt make a difference.
If i go with that, should i have the sub facing towards the driver or towards the rear car. I know lot of ppl say it sounds better when facing the rear end of the car...

put the rear arm rest down and open it to see if that helps.

yea this is what i have done...but the problem is, one of my amp is attched to the rear seat so it blocks it....i'm thinking of having that amp moved so that area could become free..

you can take out the stock bose deck speakers or get a bigger amp and sub

Definitely have the subs firing towards the rear of the car. I've tried different ways of orientating the subs, up, down, front, angles and seems like bass notes travel towards the front of the vehicle better with subs firing towards the rear.

Also...if your subs are brand spanking new...you might have to break it in until it really starts to thump out the low low notes.

You might be able to make the holes yourself (Holesaw attachment on a drill) just take off the rear deck cover (Theres a DIY in here somewhere)
