taking out stereo???

taking out stereo???
how do you take off like the whole stereo and everything around it like i got the center part off where the shifter is but i cant get the stereo part out??? help please

You have to remove the lower dash on both sides and the trim around the clock and ac display. From there you should be able to see all of the screws you need to remove to pull the head unit.

and how exactly do i go about taking out that ac display??? i tried to pry it up with a screwdriver and a towel and it wont just pop off??

It's a PITA. You just have to pull up on it pretty hard. I didn't use anything to pry it with, just hands. It does feel like you're about to break it though.
