Alpine MRP-F450 help

I'm attempting to install the Alpine MRP F450 amp using a 4 gauge streetwires wiring kit...the terminals on the alpine are too small for the power and ground connectors...anyone run into this?

just trim it down a little or cap a smaller 8 gauge onto the 4 gauge

Use a distribution block to get to a smaller gauge!!

I would not recommend triming the wires on the 4 gauge to get it to fit... This could cause fraying by the terminal which could lead to a short in the future. When I installed my amp I used a distribution block, it was only 10 bucks.

Good luck with you project!!

I ran into that problem on my old car. You can just get spade terminals that accept 4 ga and run that into the amp.
