Hey, so i installed a 1000 watt sony amp and a sub into my g35 last night (took the system from my previous car) got one of those adapters shaped like a box, where i spliced the wires to the corresponding right/left and then used the rca plugs to connect it to my amp. Wired up my sub to it and turned it on, everything worked fine, but i forgot that my sub was blown.

Soooo.... today i bought another sub, switched it in, but nothing...no sound. The sub itself has 2 red/2 black wire inputs, am i supposed to run the wire through both pairs?

Also, if i put the volume too high, my stereo shuts off...

anyone have any ideas????

As for splicing the remote wire, the instructions i had said that 2 wires for for the remote, do i splice both with seperate wires and then run both all the way to the amp, connecting into the same REM slot?
