There are several other subs that are comparable to the jlw7 and require smaller boxes as well.
Image Dynamics IDMAX, Elemental Designs O or A series, Adire Audio, Onyx Audio, and even jl's own w6v2 subs. W7's are excellent subs ofcourse, but in the coupe with the need to use as little space as possible, these companies make comparable subs that require 0.75 cuft of air space or less.
I decided to go with a pair of E10a subs for my install. It is being worked on right now and should be finished by the end of next week. Pics will be up shortly after.
