Question Sirius options for 03 coupe...

I'm looking to get Sirius sat radio connected to my 03 coupe. I've done research and have found the following.

Based on my VIN, I do not have the harness by the amp in the trunk. So I'll need that connector that goes from the Bose headunit, to the trunk. Plus of course a sat. receiver to be installed in the trunk, and antenna.

Is this my only option if I want it hardwired into my car, using the stock Bose headunit? I don't want to use an fm transmitter and plug in charger, for sound quality, as well as to reduce clutter on my dash.

Can I connect a regular Sirius receiver in the trunk?
Ideally I'd like to connect the Sirius Stiletto so I can use the receiver at the gym, home etc. Any way of doing this and being able to use it in the car, being controlled by the bose headunit? Or do I have to get the trunk receiver?
Thanks!!

I assume your Bose HU has the SAT button too. If so, you need the Nissan sat tuner (made by Clarion), the sat cable, antenna, and maybe an antenna splitter, depending on when your tuner box was made. You can only connect an OEM sat tuner to the OEM. You can't connect your Stiletto to the OEM harness.

www.everythingg35.com and www.grubbsperformance.com have the sat tuner for around $200. It's pretty easy to install. You can look at the instructions online. Don't pay the dealer's price.

I do have the SAT button. I guess I'll have to get the oem sat. tuner to get what I want. Just a little more than I wanted to pay, I'll try the market place.

If your VIN is 210827 or higher (last 6 digits) you are prewired. If your VIN is lower, you also need the sat cable.
