I've been looking in to getting rid of the key completely and I don't feel it is something many people would be able or willing to do. It looks like the entire key assembly will have to come out and the lock shaft will have to be filed off. I would guess not many people would be that comitted to not using a key....

We have sent out the "final" version for testing. If all goes well it will be on our site for sale very soon.

cool!

i'm getting my car this week actually and i was wondering if the 06 coupes had some type of different "intelligent key" style thing than older models?

also, i'm an automotive tech and would definitely be interested in the intelligent key retrofit seeing as i'm sure i could do it.

cheers!

We are very close to release - all the "work" is done and the module is ready to produce. We are just waiting on feedback from our testers and looking to do one more "test" install before we offer these to the public!

Shortly after the launch we will start developing the keyless add on. So, if you purchase the module now and want it to be totally keyless we should be able to offer that in the future as an add on.

how long do you anticipate until the keyless system will be available?
and will you be integrating it to use the standard alarm and key or will it be an aftermarket sensor type of system?
