So I've read up on the error a bit and it seems like everyone gets it fixed through the warranty. What happens if your out of the warranty period?

 

You pay to have it fixed?

 

lets assume that thats not an option.

 

its another excuse to get an aftermarket one or get a Double Din whoot whoot... but if you dont got a warrenty then your pretty much ****ed imo.. sorry my 2 cents

 

You have several options:
1. Buy a new HU/get your fixed at the dealer
2. Buy a unsed HU from someone on here that has replaced theirs with a DD
3. Convert to DD
4. Get satellite radio and/or an iPod connection and stop using CDs

 

Cheapest option for me was removing the radio myself and
sending it to Clarion.. 175$
