ATTN: People with BOSE CD Changer ERROR (FIXED OR NOT - Plz look in here)

I know that a lot of us are having this problem. Many are fortunate because you're still under warranty period. And many others aren't, including myself.

PLEASE ADDRESS THIS MATTER TO INFINITI, WHETHER YOURS WAS FIXED OR NOT.

The contact number is: 1-800-662-6200. I think you'd have to press option 3 (regarding recalls, services, etc.)

Please call them and File a complaint with them about:

"BOSE CD Changer ERROR"

If enough complaints are filed, it'll raise Infiniti's attention to issue a TSB or Recall and help other owners who ran into the same problem but aren't covered under warranty. It's totally ridiculous for this to happen to many of us within such a short time frame. I've seen other cars, 10yrs old with 200K miles on theirs, and their CD changers still work great.

EVEN if you paid your pocket $$ to get it fix, once the TSB or Recall is issued, they'll reimburse you.

Thanks.

Did it in addition to that poll that was put up a long time ago. I ain't expecting much since Infiniti has done nothing since this problem came out.

The error is known to happen on pretty much all years, it's a 'CD Error F0' that appears when you select disc so that you can listen to the six disc changer. It pretty much means that your cd player is broken, and Infiniti won't do anything about it. It has happened to some cars that are only a few months old and others that are 3 years or more old. My car is currently experiencing this, and the cd player has MAYBE had 20 hours of use. The car is an '03 with 30,000 miles on it, and has had satellite radio for about 99% of the time the radio has been on. It currently has six of my cd's stored within the changer and I cannot get them back out.

I'm in the middle of installing a Pioneer Avic D3 right now...

So therefore, the more people reports the complain, Infiniti will do something about it.
