Infinity Kappa 693.7i's are very nice. Boston's are also nice from the reviews i've read.

yes, replacing rear deck speakers...here's the thing the audiobahns just had better specs than the boston or jl's, but your right cheap price and cheap quality... had some jls a few years ago and weren't impressed with them...do you have the bostons in now?

What are your goals in replacing the 6x9's?

Have you replaced the rest of the speakers also, or do you plan to replace them?

Are you going to keep the Bose amp to power the speakers?

i've replaced the fronts with a component set from audiobahn, didn't replace the sides. alpine head unit, everything being pushed by an alpine MRP F450 70Wx4, there is no Bose left!! was hoping to avoid adding a sub to save space in the trunk due to traveling a lot. so, would like the 6x9s to provide plenty of bass which the audiobahns did for a little while.

audiobahns in my opinion have horrible quality. If anything I would try to get a 6x9 to 6.5 adapater and go with 6.5s. You will have a lot more options. I have yet to hear a great pair of 6x9s.
