Nissan OBD-II scanner?

I've searched the forums and can't find any information on the same scanner used by Nissan/Infiniti to connect to our cars when checking codes and such. My buddy's got a VAG-COM for his Audi and he can do just about anything he wants to the control modules. He's able to read faults codes too.

Is there a similar tool/software for our cars? I don't like the AutoTap option since it doesn't provide the enhanced parameters (it does so only for US manufacturers). I'd prefer getting the same tool used by the dealerships.

http://www.autotap.com/upgrades.asp

Thanks
B

Thanks!

Do you guys have any experience with the AutoEnginuity tool? And any idea if it compares to what the Nissan/Infiniti dealers use?

Thanks,
B

Since you've used both...

Which works better/provides more functionality? UpRev Cipher or Autoenginuity Scantool?

From what I understand, Cipher needs its own proprietary cable interface to run. It's included when you purchase the software, and no other cable works. Is this true?

This is true. The software is free. The cable is proprietary and is where the money is.
