In the market for a Viper car security system

I'm in the market for a car security system. I'm a AAA member so I can receive a 20% discount on any car security system at BestBuy. I've checked out their website and leaning towards the Viper 3-Channel Security System with Keyless Entry Model 350HV for $230. After the discount it will be $184 which is not bad.

If anyone here has this Viper model or any other similiar models I'll appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Oh...Circuit City has Python security systems. Are these any good?

I just had a viper installed with remote start, didnot do to best buy just becasue I dont trust them. Went to an independent shop, paid the same price plus installation, cool thing is that my factory system still works as well

Get the Viper 5900, I heard there having problems with the 7900, The 5900 is the newer model of the 791xv.

791xv = 1/4 mile range
5900 = 1 mile range

i'm getting the viper 5900 installed on my 06 coupe with intelligent key this saturday..

just wondering, is it possible to link the viper alarm to my intelligent key?? so if i press the button on the door handle to unlock, it would also disarm the viper alarm
